- Log in as user root
- Download the yum repo file from http://public-yum.oracle.com
- # cd /etc/yum.repos.d
- # wget http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-ol6.repo
- Run yum repolist
Depending of you internet speed it could take several minutes to build the repository.
